Bishop Libasci issued a letter updating us about new changes our diocese is making and the plans for the near future.  Parishes will be able to begin distributing Holy Communion to the faithful.  Please note that this is NOT a return to public Masses….yet. Pope Francis will be connected online with Marian sanctuaries across the world to pray to the Virgin Mary for help amidst the pandemic.  These include Lourdes, Fatima, Lujan, Milagro, Guadalupe, San Giovanni Rotondo and Pompeii.  He will lead the Rosary on Saturday May 30th, joining the Marian Shrines.  It will broadcast live from the Grotto of Lourdes in the Vatican Gardens at 5:30 PM Rome time (11:30 AM EST). Marian Devotions

Every Friday evening during the month of May Fr. Arockia will lead Marian Devotions with the praying of a Scriptural Rosary followed by Benediction. This Friday (May 8th) it will begin at 7 PM.  Every Friday afterwards it will begin at 6 PM. Update on Abortion Bills

Five pro-life bills were voted on by the House in our state.  All five were defeated by the Democrat majority.  They may go to the Senate for a vote, but will be defeated there as well. SB-486-FN, A Senate Bill passed 14/10. This would require insurance companies to "provide coverage for emergency or elective abortion services for persons who are residents of this state." This bill will "cross-over" to the House sometime in the Spring, but the House Democrat Majority will very likely pass it there. Tomorrow, April 3rd, is First Friday.  Eucharistic Adoration will be held in St. Mary Church from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Confessions will be heard from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. No palms will be distributed this year due to the pandemic. Vocations Holy Hour Change

Vocations Holy Hour will continue every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.  During Lent, on Thursdays Fr. Arockia will begin the Vocations Holy Hour with a brief 2-5 minute reflection and then will hear confessions during the Rosary and silent prayer.
