REMINDERS

Posted on June 18, 2020 in: General News

A few reminders as we continue with the celebration of public Masses:

The obligation to physically attend Sunday Mass is still suspended, so for those faithful who discern it best not to attend a public Mass due to health concerns, we will continue to livestream all 3 weekend Masses at their usual times on the parish Facebook page.

For those who prefer to participate in a livestreamed Mass at home but still receive Holy Communion, the Eucharist will continue to be distributed from 11:00 to 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church and 11:30 AM to 12:00 Noon at St. Mary Church.

After each weekend Mass we are asking for 8 volunteers to help sanitize the pews in the church.  The spray bottles will be provided at the end of Mass.  There is no need to saturate the surfaces or wipe down the pews after spraying.  The sanitizer kills on contact and evaporates in 4 minutes.  After the pews are sanitized, the kneelers should then be placed back up for the next Mass.

At the end of Mass parishioners are asked to leave their kneelers down in the pew in which they sat so those sanitizing will know which pews to spray and which pews may be skipped.

A black bag in a basket is available as one walks into the church that is provided for parish support as we will not be taking up collections at each Mass.  Parishioners are also encouraged to mail in their support or go to the parish website and sign up for the online offertory venue.  Your continued support of the parish is greatly appreciated!

Daily Masses are also open to the public.  Please see the bulletin for the schedule.

The church continues to be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in St. Mary Church.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the office.
