Advent Tree of Life 2020

We are putting up the tree extra early this year because of COVID. Envelopes with gift requests will be on the tree this weekend through Thanksgiving weekend. They will also be available at the church office Monday-Thursday from 8 am-2 pm and Friday from 8am until noon. Please pick up one or more envelopes from the office if you are not currently attending Sunday masses. Gifts can also be returned to the office during the hours listed above. On Monday, October 19th, at 3:00 PM, Fr. Shawn and Fr. Arockia will bless the graves at St. Mary Cemetery. We will meet at Old St. Mary Church. At this same time parishioners are welcome to bring any BLESSED religious items that need to be buried. This is the proper way to dispose of blessed items. We will resume our monthly sidewalk prayer vigil on the fourth Saturday, August 22nd, at 12 to 1pm at 136 Pleasant St., Claremont. We will observe NH Governor Sununu's COVID safety protocols with masks required and social distancing, in addition to our usual demeanor of being peaceful, prayerful, respectful, and lawful. Five pro-life bills were voted on by the House in our state.  All five were defeated by the Democrat majority.  They may go to the Senate for a vote, but will be defeated there as well. SB-486-FN, A Senate Bill passed 14/10. This would require insurance companies to "provide coverage for emergency or elective abortion services for persons who are residents of this state." This bill will "cross-over" to the House sometime in the Spring, but the House Democrat Majority will very likely pass it there. Fat Tuesday Dinner

Knights of Columbus Council 1820 Fat Tuesday Dinner St. Mary’s Gym Tuesday, February 25, 2020 5:30—7:30 PM Dinner includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, fruit salad, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water. A free will offering at the time of the dinner is appreciated. All proceeds are to benefit the Knights of Columbus Council 1820. Contact is Louis Millette. Ash Wednesday is February 26, 2020. Prayer-Witness Vigil for Life

We will have our monthly Vigil for Life on Saturday, February 22nd from Noon to 1 pm.  We meet across from Planned Parenthood at 136 Pleasant St., Claremont, NH. All are welcome to come witness for life and pray the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the unborn and to convert the culture of death. Remember, Prayers and Numbers count in the battle for Life!

Breakfast Honoring Marriage

After the 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday, February 23rd, the parish will provide a full breakfast in St. Mary’s Gym for all parishioners in honor of the beautiful vocation of Holy Matrimony!  The Knights of Columbus have graciously offered to cook and serve at this celebration.  Fr. Shawn will be handing out a few prizes at the party as well! This year the parish will be celebrating and honoring all the married couples in St. Mary Parish on World Marriage Day, Sunday, February 9th. The Diocese of Manchester will walk in solidarity with those taking part in the March for Life in Washington, DC. Starting at 11:45, we will silently process approximately a half mile from the Diocesan Administration Building (153 Ash Street) to Saint Joseph Cathedral, where Mass will be celebrated starting at 12:10. if you can’t make it to Washington, join us as we bear joyful witness to the beauty and dignity of every human person!
