The diocese is changing the age of Confirmation to third grade.  This change will not take place within the next year (2017-2018).  A transition will begin after this and over the next 3 years.

The purpose for the change is to restore the order that the sacraments of initiation were intended to be celebrated: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist.
