St. Joseph Parish Mass Changes

Beginning on the weekend of Divine Mercy, April 27-28, Mass times will be changed at St. Joseph Parish, Claremont, NH.  The Saturday Vigil Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 PM and the Sunday Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM. Although this change may seem difficult for some, please remember that the number of people who presently attend the three Masses on the weekend could be accommodated with only one Mass.

Relic Pilgrimage

The incorrupt heart of St. Jean Vianney will be visiting St. Joseph Cathedral on April 24th. The Shrine of Ars, France, has made this major relic available for a national tour in the U.S. The Knights of Columbus is hosting this tour and welcomes this special opportunity to offer veneration of this relic of the patron of parish priests, whose holiness and integrity is a model for clergy and laity alike. Veneration is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Bishop Libasci will celebrate Mass at 12:10 p.m.

Advent Tree Project

As usual, St, Mary's parishioners were very generous in purchasing gifts for the Advent Tree project. About 350 clothing gifts were provided to the Kiwanis Club for distribution to needy children and adults in our area. Over $2200 was also donated and used to purchase the boots, snowpants and jackets that children needed. We are sure that Christmas was brighter for many families because of your generosity!
